VOC Port Surpasses Its Own Record Yet Again with 18,547 Tonnes of Coal Handled in a Day

Tuticorin, August 23, 2024 – In yet another impressive display of operational excellence, V.O. Chidambaranar (VOC) Port set a new record by handling 18,547 tonnes of coal in a single day at North Cargo Berth-2. This milestone was achieved using a combination of vessel and Harbour Mobile Cranes to unload coal from the vessel MV Archon Gabriel, overtaking the previous record of 18,200 tonnes set just a week earlier on August 16, 2024.
